About the position

The Vice President of Business Development at RayzeBio will provide strategic leadership to drive growth and establish global leadership in the radiopharmaceutical industry. This role involves shaping and executing business development strategies, leading partnerships, and identifying transformative opportunities that align with the company's mission. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring of team members to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to overall corporate strategy and decision-making.
  • Identify and assess strategic opportunities, including licensing, acquisitions, and collaborations.
  • Oversee due diligence processes and provide high-level recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Lead complex negotiations, structure agreements, and finalize partnerships.
  • Work closely with cross-functional leaders to integrate new opportunities into operations.
  • Partner with BMS leadership to leverage synergies and shared resources effectively.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field (PhD, MS, or PharmD preferred); an MBA is a plus.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, including significant experience in business development.
  • Proven track record of success in oncology or radiopharmaceuticals.
