About the position

The VP CFO - Centennial is responsible for overseeing financial management activities at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Centennial. This role involves financial planning, accounting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The VP CFO will develop and implement financial strategies, provide oversight for major business initiatives, and ensure the organization operates in a financially responsible manner.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee financial management activities for BSWH at Centennial.
• Develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for planning and control.
• Perform in-depth studies to assess present and future financial performance.
• Provide financial oversight of major BSWH business initiatives.
• Prepare and present financial recommendations, including plans and proposals.
• Establish and implement policies and procedures related to financial operations.
• Develop programs to monitor and measure execution of financial plans.
• Guide the monthly review of financial statements for accuracy and relevance.
• Drive strategic financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Oversee the integrity of financial internal controls and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field preferred.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• 3+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Strategic financial planning and study skills.
• Professional certification preferred (CPA, CMA, CHFP, or FHFMA).
• Proven knowledge of the healthcare industry and revenue cycle operations.
• Mastery of GAAP and understanding of government reimbursement and tax regulations.
• Outstanding leadership skills with a collaborative style.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
