About the position

The VP Client Digital position at Compeer Financial is responsible for leading the strategy and roadmap for enterprise-wide digital and mobile initiatives aimed at enhancing client experiences. This role focuses on client acquisition, onboarding, and engagement, while implementing digital banking innovations to meet strategic and financial goals. The VP will provide thought leadership in client capabilities and engagement, ensuring a seamless digital journey across all client interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees secured digital experiences, enabling clients to manage funds, pay bills, and optimize capital.
  • Partners with Research and Client Experience teams to enhance the client experience using full funnel web metrics.
  • Collaborates with Business Technology to bring the digital roadmap to life in an agile format.
  • Oversees multiple public sites and utilizes expertise in personas and the marketing technology stack to create engaging content.
  • Champions the strategic use of Martech tools, driving usage and adoption across teams.
  • Sets the vision and digital strategy, communicating the roadmap across various teams.
  • Delivers strategic leadership in the evolution of digital and mobile banking.
  • Identifies and evaluates digital opportunities to enhance client value and competitive advantage.
  • Develops and leads the SEO strategy to ensure top search engine rankings and personalized content delivery.
  • Communicates business expectations and goals to the team and is responsible for team results.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure resource prioritization aligns with business goals.
  • Drives continuous process improvement and develops best practices within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, agribusiness, or related field.
  • Ten or more years of leadership and management experience, preferably in digital teams.
  • Proven experience in full funnel web metrics and optimizing client journeys.
  • Ten or more years of experience in creating and optimizing large scale digital experiences in financial services.
  • Demonstrates visionary thinking and expertise in digital strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and consensus-building abilities.
  • Expansive knowledge of industry trends and best-in-class solutions.
  • Deep understanding of web content, design, and user experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of client personas and varying levels of digital engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in creative and analytical problem-solving approaches.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in agricultural or rural lending is preferred.
  • Demonstrated storytelling skills to create compelling experiences.
