About the position

The VP, Creative Director - Art at AREA23 IPG Health is responsible for leading the brand Art teams to ensure high-quality content and style that align with clients' marketing strategies and objectives. This role involves developing award-winning ideas, managing client relationships, and overseeing the career development of direct and indirect reports. The VP CD - ART acts as an ambassador for the agency, fostering collaboration and innovation within the creative team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the brand Art team(s) to ensure high quality of content and style.
• Develop award-winning ideas and brand strategies in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Manage client relationships through demonstrated creative leadership and successful output.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering an inclusive and positive culture.
• Oversee the execution of creative ideas, ensuring high attention to detail and aesthetic quality.
• Collaborate with various departments to maintain alignment in creative vision and project timelines.
• Participate in new business efforts to grow existing brands and generate additional revenue.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Art and Design or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Art Direction, or related field.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
