About the position

The VP, Creative Director at Klick Health is a pivotal role that combines leadership, creativity, and strategic oversight in the life sciences sector. This position is responsible for managing multiple accounts, each generating approximately $5-10 million in revenue, and leading a team of Associate Creative Directors to produce best-in-class creative work. The Creative Director will collaborate closely with cross-discipline leads to develop and recommend advertising initiatives that align with clients' marketing strategies and objectives. This role is not only about managing existing accounts but also about winning new business in competitive pitches, showcasing the ability to lead and inspire a team while driving results for clients. In this dynamic environment, the Creative Director will be expected to demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and sound judgment in problem-solving. The role requires a deep understanding of product challenges in relation to market trends, as well as a comprehensive grasp of the assigned accounts, treatment categories, clinical developments, and relevant physician specialties. Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple accounts and manage a team of Associate Creative Directors.
  • Develop and recommend advertising initiatives to meet clients' marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Win new business in competitive pitches with support from creative leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline leads to ensure cohesive and effective advertising strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and rapport.
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills in all interactions.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and decisive problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay informed about market trends, treatment categories, and clinical developments relevant to assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising/Marketing, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Communications, Writing or related discipline preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing/advertising business experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Established presentation skills and ability to build client rapport.
  • Deep understanding of product challenges in relation to overall market.
  • In-depth understanding of assigned accounts and relevant physician specialties.
  • Computer proficiency with solid knowledge of word text programs.
  • Proficiency in working with and adopting AI tools preferred.
