About the position

The VP, Credit Card Operations Manager will play a crucial role in building a credit card operation from the ground up for a new digital bank. This position involves both pre-launch operational tasks and post-launch management, focusing on creating processes, vendor management, and ensuring a customer-focused operation. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in card programs and payments to lead the operational build and implementation effectively.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior operations leader and point of contact for the Operational Target Operating Model.
• Manage risks effectively with domain experience in credit card operations.
• Own operational processes and ensure they align with bank standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert and tester for operational processes.
• Build and lead a high-performing team.
• Provide expertise in money movement and payments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 7+ years of experience in card operations.
• 3+ years of implementation experience in financial services.
• 5+ years of experience in money movement and payments, with ACH accreditation preferred.
• Experience in building high-performing bank operations functions is desired.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify potential issues proactively.
• Highly proficient in PC skills, including MS Excel and Word.
• Ability to plan, monitor activities according to priorities, and multi-task effectively.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments in a timely manner.
