About the position

The VP/D Digital Financial Services Product Manager at OneMain is a strategic leadership role focused on enhancing customer engagement with digital financial products. This position is responsible for developing innovative solutions that improve customer financial well-being while driving business objectives. The role requires a blend of analytical skills, empathy, and a strong bias for action to lead a high-performing product team in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Encourage customer engagement with digital features and experiences online and in the mobile app.
  • Uncover customer motivations and provide helpful solutions to remove friction in product usage.
  • Create a roadmap of innovative ideas and seamless customer journeys.
  • Partner with Marketing to define a digital cross-sell acquisition strategy.
  • Collaborate with Operations to shift costly interactions to digital self-service options.
  • Develop a strategic product vision for an integrated omni-channel solution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment and execution across launches.
  • Utilize data to inform product development and validate hypotheses through experimentation.
  • Communicate status updates, strategic risks, and progress to team members and senior leadership.
  • Build and evolve a high-performing team of product managers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working on successful digital consumer products, preferably at high-scale companies.
  • At least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in launching new products, features, or experiences.
  • Self-starter with a strong leadership presence that amplifies cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in creating product vision and strategy aligned across teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to motivate and inform team members.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in the digital product development process, including road mapping and testing.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for product domain.
