About the position

The VP/D Digital Financial Services Product Manager at OneMain Financial is a senior leadership role focused on transforming customer engagement with financial products through innovative digital solutions. This position is responsible for leading a product team to enhance customer experiences, drive financial well-being, and achieve business objectives by leveraging data-driven insights and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Encourage customer engagement with digital features and experiences online and in the mobile app.
• Uncover customer motivations and provide helpful solutions to remove friction in product usage.
• Create a roadmap of innovative ideas and seamless journeys for customer interaction.
• Partner with Marketing to define a digital cross-sell acquisition strategy.
• Collaborate with Operations to shift costly interactions to digital self-service options.
• Develop a strategic product vision for an integrated omni-channel solution.
• Work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment and execution across product launches.
• Communicate status updates, strategic risks, and progress to senior leadership.
• Build and evolve a high-performing team of product managers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working on successful digital consumer products, preferably at high scale companies.
• At least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in launching new products, features, or experiences.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to amplify cross-functional teams.
• Experience in creating product vision and strategy across teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex analytical problems and implement solutions.
• Extensive hands-on experience in the digital product development process.
