About the position

The Vice President of Data Analytics at Gartner will lead the Research Business Analytics (RBA) team, focusing on enhancing business performance through data-driven insights and analytics. This role involves managing a team across the US and India, overseeing end-to-end deliverables related to content and operational insights, and driving strategic initiatives to improve client retention and revenue growth. The VP will be responsible for coaching the team, influencing stakeholders, and developing methodologies to measure content effectiveness, ensuring that Gartner's research products deliver maximum value to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Research Business Analytics (RBA) team in analyzing Gartner's research performance.
  • Coach team members to develop analytical expertise and solve complex business problems.
  • Manage strategy projects and guide the team in analyzing key business issues.
  • Develop methodologies to measure content viewership and impact.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve content reporting and automation.
  • Build expertise in Gartner content data and ensure its reliability for decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strategic projects.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive business experience in advanced analytics and business strategy.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred in statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders using data.
  • Strong technical understanding of data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Leadership experience in managing and coaching international teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with statistical analysis and identifying patterns in data.
  • Familiarity with content management and performance measurement methodologies.
