About the position
The Vice President of Data Analytics - Content at Gartner will lead a team responsible for analyzing and improving the performance of research products. This role involves managing end-to-end deliverables related to content and operational insights, coaching team members, and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives. The VP will utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and enhance client interactions, ultimately contributing to Gartner's revenue growth and retention.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of analysts in the US and India to deliver insights on content performance.
- Coach team members on building dashboards that communicate content performance and insights.
- Manage strategic projects and guide analysis of key business problems.
- Develop methodologies to measure content reach and performance across various factors.
- Collaborate with other teams to improve content reporting and automation.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive business experience in advanced analytics and business strategy.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred in statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or operations research.
- Proven track record of solving complex problems and influencing senior stakeholders with data-driven insights.
- Strong technical understanding of data analysis and visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a leadership role managing international teams.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and identifying patterns in data.
