As a database architect, you'll be architecting, designing secured database for Microservices, MFE's, API's and also responsible for high performance and secured migrations from on-prem to AWS Cloud adhering to strict governance process. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 7+ years of experience in Technology or in lieu of degree, minimum of 10 years of experience in Technology.
• Minimum 7 years of strong Technical Expertise in one of the RDBMS: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and at least proficient in one NoSQL like DynamoDB, Keyspaces.
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, Lambda.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, security groups, and load balancers.
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices and tools such as IAM, KMS, and Security Hub.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks.
• Ability to analyze, use structured problem solving and available tools to troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, action plans, impact and resolution options.

Nice To Haves

• Architect and implement homogeneous and heterogeneous migrations design patterns.
• Proficient in RDS, Aurora and Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, high-availability infrastructure on AWS using services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Architect, design and execute homogeneous and heterogenous database migrations from on-prem to AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/ cloudbees CI to automate deployment processes.
• Utilize tools like Terraform to manage infrastructure as code (IaC) and ensure consistency across environments.
• Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Python / Shell / Lambda to enhance operational efficiency.
• Implement monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Newrelic and other tools to ensure the performance, availability, and reliability of applications.
• Apply security best practices to safeguard cloud environments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and application performance.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate Platform practices and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Identify the performance problems and give solutions for any DB solution.
• Participate in agile sprints including story writing, planning, daily standups, backlog grooming sessions, reviews and SAFe ceremonies.
• Understand API/microservice architecture and able to participate in the architecture discussions of applications and suggest right database.

Benefits

• Salary range: 135,000.00 - 230,000.00 USD Annual.
• Eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
