About the position

The Vice President or Director of Finance will oversee all financial activities across multiple manufacturing sites, playing a crucial role in the company's financial success and growth. This leadership position requires strategic financial planning, budget management, cost-benefit analysis, and forecasting to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all financial matters across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Develop financial strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction.
  • Establish finance operational strategies by forecasting requirements, establishing critical measurements, accruing resources, implementing production, productivity, quality, and resolving customer-service problems.
  • Adopt new financial technologies and processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Optimize financial performance by studying business forecasts, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Oversee all accounting done at multiple sites, including oversight of the monthly close and financial statements.
  • Conduct risk management to minimize business risks.
  • Establish and monitor fiscal procedures and financial objectives.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience within accounting and finance.
  • A master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior financial management role within manufacturing environments, overseeing multiple sites is preferred.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or similar) is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using Accounting Software Systems.
