About the position
Pixalate is seeking a VP/Director of Product Management for Global Online Privacy & Compliance to lead the development of compliance privacy products. This role involves engaging with legal counsel, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure the products meet relevant data privacy laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be the subject matter expert on data privacy laws and will drive the vision and strategy for the compliance product line.
Responsibilities
- Be the 'GM' of the Pixalate Compliance Product
- Create and maintain the product roadmap
- Own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and end-to-end launch of the product
- Assist in product positioning and collateral development
- Drive the vision, position, strategy, perception, and direction of the Compliance Product
- Understand the data governance and public policy implications of data privacy in online advertising
- Serve as the in-house expert on global data privacy protection laws
- Collaborate with the global team to develop briefing papers, blog posts, presentations, consultation responses, and conduct webinars, brown bags, and client presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Physics, or a similar quantitative area (Master's/PhD is a plus)
- Passion for data privacy and protecting consumers from data surveillance
- Experience in privacy and compliance-related fields
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management/Product Strategy for a SaaS company, specifically in compliance-related products
- Experience writing product specifications and documentation (internal and external)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
