About the position

The VP, Finance Planning & Analysis - Pharmacy Services at CVS Health is responsible for providing comprehensive financial support across various portfolio business lines, including Specialty & Mail Pharmacy, Network, and Trade. This leadership role involves strategic goal setting, organizational effectiveness improvement, and financial results management. The position requires exceptional leadership skills to support senior business leaders and matrix team members in Finance, Operations, and Sales, while overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute change within the finance organization to support evolving businesses.
• Acquire talent, mentor team members, and build a high-performance culture.
• Develop and engage business leaders with complex financial analysis to improve productivity and cost savings.
• Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
• Manage the creation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and financial close support for the business.
• Prepare and present periodic reporting packages to senior management for decision making.
• Set standards for integrity, accountability, and achieving results.
• Translate financial results into actionable narratives that influence strategic planning and business decisions.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive change to enhance efficiency and alignment of priorities.

Requirements

• 20+ years of financial management experience including strategic and business planning, financial analysis, and operations in a PBM or related business.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams in an executive role.
• Experience supporting a P&L.
• Experience leading a large and complex organization.
• Extensive change management experience.
• Proven experience developing and executing financial strategies in a matrix operating model.
• Demonstrated financial analytics experience.
