About the position

The VP of Finance Transformation is responsible for leading finance technology transformation initiatives at Mohegan Sun. This role involves developing and executing strategies for process redesign, vendor selection, and managing finance data management. The VP will work closely with stakeholders across finance, IT, and HR to ensure that technology solutions align with business needs and support continuous improvement in finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes finance technology transformation initiatives, including process redesign and vendor selection.
• Works closely with vendors and implementation partners to ensure technology solutions meet business expectations.
• Defines and maintains finance data management strategy, including interdependencies with key applications.
• Facilitates finance automation in partnership with finance process owners and application owners.
• Oversees change management programs for the finance team, including assessment, design, training, and communications.
• Maintains a continuous improvement approach to ensure processes and internal controls scale with changes in business and accounting policies.
• Partners with key stakeholders to identify future transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in finance positions of increasing scope and responsibility.
• Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in diverse, complex, and global environments.
• Significant experience in finance transformation, including ERP implementation and operational excellence.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP certification preferred.
• Exceptional organization and project management skills.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
