The Full-time VP of Franchise Portfolio Management at Azurity Pharmaceuticals plays a pivotal role within the Strategic Portfolio Management function. This position is responsible for planning, building, and managing a balanced product portfolio throughout its entire lifecycle, from ideation to discontinuation, to meet the assigned category targets aligned with Azurity's five-year financial model. The VP will ideate, select, and oversee the development of a portfolio of assets that not only fit Azurity's criteria but also align with patient needs and market opportunities, leveraging internal technical capabilities to develop innovative products. Additionally, this role will inform business development efforts to supplement internal capabilities with external opportunities. The VP will employ a variety of techniques to assess customer needs and analyze multiple data sources to formulate strategies for the category. They will own the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process from ideation through to the end of life of the product, leading cross-functional teams to drive the development and launch processes, as well as subsequent product enhancements or line extensions. The role requires maintaining comprehensive subject matter expertise for the category through extensive research, market scanning, competitive intelligence, and customer input. The VP will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a balanced strategic plan for the category, managing the replacement of mature assets while growing category revenues over the long term. In this leadership position, the VP will challenge business development to provide assets that can supplement the internally developed portfolio and will be tasked with developing external partnerships to access new technologies that enhance portfolio development.
