About the position

The VP of Global Corporate Applications, Data, and Enterprise Architecture at Americold is responsible for providing strategic leadership and vision for the company's global corporate applications, data management, and enterprise architecture. This role involves overseeing the optimization of various corporate software applications, ensuring effective data integration, and managing the overall enterprise architecture to align with operational technology. The VP will also lead regional teams and collaborate with global functional and IT leads to establish priorities and execute a comprehensive roadmap for technology applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a global perspective on all information technology applications and data used across all regions and functions globally.
  • Interact with global functional and IT leads to establish key priorities and themes to address and incorporate into the roadmap.
  • Act as a global change agent and leader to enable good business outcomes for global functional teams and operations through the implementation of the roadmap.
  • Direct the operations and work activities of the Technology Application Owners, Business Analysts, and Development teams in support of business functions.
  • Develop short and long-term strategies and roadmaps for all functional technologies within this area.
  • Supervise the team including hiring, work allocation, scheduling, training, and professional development.
  • Determine applications architecture and strategy, providing vision and problem-solving to the teams involved in systems analysis, reporting, and applications development.
  • Ensure Master Data is maintained and managed through Master Data Management tools and processes in cooperation with global data owners and process owners.
  • Implement and execute against policies and procedures, technical standards, change management, methods, and priorities.
  • Communicate with Executive Management in establishing strategy, goals, and priorities.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and manage projects/sprints from initiation through delivery and commissioning.
  • Provide leadership to multiple parties to define requirements, establish system design, and manage deliverables and timelines.
  • Support the negotiation and implementation of contracts and manage budgets for their cost center.
  • Identify new technologies and determine their applicability to the organization's long-term needs and goals.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with all customers to facilitate the successful accomplishment of business objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the information technology field.
  • Minimum 10 years leading global enterprise-wide system management.
  • Demonstrated success in leading a large and diverse team of IT professionals.
  • Oracle ERP experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field is required.
