About the position

The VP, Global Creative at Paula's Choice will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the brand's visual identity. This position is responsible for developing and executing the overall creative strategy, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market trends, and overseeing the execution of all creative needs across various platforms. The role requires strong leadership to inspire a multidisciplinary creative team and to uphold brand guidelines that ensure visual consistency across all marketing materials and product packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall creative strategy for Paula's Choice.
  • Create breakthrough brand campaigns and oversee the execution of all creative needs including site, digital marketing, visual merchandising, and retail activations.
  • Establish and enforce strong brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all marketing materials and digital platforms.
  • Uphold and evolve the Paula's Choice brand identity, ensuring all creative work reflects the company's commitment to quality and transparency.
  • Conduct regular audits of brand visuals to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team of 15.
  • Collaborate with international creative leads to ensure consistent brand expression.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into the creative process.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Oversee the creative budget and allocate resources effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful creative campaigns.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across various media, with an emphasis on brand consistency.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
