About the position

The VP, Global Real Estate & Facilities Management (GRE&FM) will lead a global team of Real Estate professionals, focusing on providing a modern, productive, and efficient workplace. This role involves partnering with various business leaders and stakeholders to align real estate strategies with corporate goals, overseeing facility management standards, and driving excellence in real estate operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to a high-performing team of senior real estate professionals.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver complex real estate projects.
  • Develop and execute the real estate strategy for financial, employee, and business optimization.
  • Oversee global facility management standards and execution.
  • Lead capital projects tied to real estate transactions and facility investments.
  • Engage with real estate service providers to develop market options and identify design needs.
  • Develop and implement innovative workplace strategies to optimize experience and productivity.
  • Lead the development and utilization of the real estate transaction approval process globally.
  • Manage real estate-related acquisition due diligence activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12-15 years in corporate real estate, finance, or consulting roles.
  • 7-9 years of real estate experience and 5-7 years of negotiation experience.
  • Strong finance background and expertise in real estate.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in decision-making and implementing changes.
  • Experience in integrating corporate real estate portfolios post-acquisitions.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing real estate strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in strategic planning and managing international, multi-location organizations.
  • Broad knowledge of developing and implementing global reporting processes.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
