About the position

As the VP of Global Total Rewards at Adyen, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative global compensation and benefits programs that align with the company's mission. This role is crucial for attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent while supporting Adyen's ambitious objectives. You will oversee a global Total Rewards team and collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and leadership to ensure a consistent people experience across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic vision by assessing and enhancing the global rewards strategy, focusing on base pay, variable pay, and incentive plans.
  • Develop and articulate a rewards philosophy that integrates total rewards strategies with the employee value proposition and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership and HR Centers of Excellence to identify opportunities for enhancing the rewards offering.
  • Manage executive compensation initiatives, including preparing materials for the Management Board and Remuneration Committee.
  • Lead the design and administration of comprehensive employee benefits programs to ensure employees feel valued and supported.
  • Lead and mentor a team of rewards professionals, fostering a culture of development and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory updates and standards globally.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in rewards management.
  • Proven experience in executive compensation and equity administration.
  • Experience leading teams of 10+ colleagues in Global Compensation, Rewards, or Global Mobility.
  • Expertise in navigating compliance and regulatory requirements surrounding global compensation programs.
  • Outstanding analytical and project management capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
