About the position

As the VP of Growth Marketing at Posit, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and enhancing market presence through a strategic, data-driven marketing approach. This position involves overseeing various marketing functions to create integrated buyer journeys and customer experiences, focusing on growth marketing strategy, multi-channel campaigns, account-based marketing, field marketing programs, customer marketing initiatives, and partner marketing efforts. You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness in achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the growth marketing strategy and execution, developing a comprehensive plan that aligns with business objectives.
  • Lead the creation and execution of integrated, data-driven multi-channel campaigns to attract, engage, and convert target audiences.
  • Establish and scale personalized account-based marketing (ABM) programs to deepen engagement with high-potential target accounts.
  • Design and oversee regional events, trade shows, and user conferences to enhance brand presence and generate qualified leads.
  • Craft and execute customer marketing strategies focused on retention, expansion, and advocacy.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic co-marketing programs with technology and channel partners to extend reach and increase lead generation.
  • Collaborate with sales to align growth marketing initiatives with revenue targets and develop lead-nurturing strategies.
  • Work with customer success to create integrated customer marketing campaigns that support expansion and retention motions.
  • Engage with partner managers to design and execute co-marketing initiatives with technology and channel partners.
  • Coordinate with field marketing and events teams to strategize and execute in-person events that complement broader growth campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop tailored content assets for campaigns and customer engagement.
  • Partner with product marketing to ensure campaigns align with target personas and reflect product value propositions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in B2B software marketing, with at least 5 years in a growth-oriented leadership role.
  • Experience in data science and/or open-source software.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling successful ABM, field, and partner marketing programs that drive measurable revenue impact.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to inform marketing strategy and measure campaign performance.
  • Strong operational and project management abilities, adept at leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across various functions.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performance teams.
  • A data-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
