About the position

The Vice President of Go-To-Market & Customer Migration at Lumen is responsible for developing and executing effective go-to-market strategies for the company's product, sales, and marketing functions. This role involves leading a team to innovate and oversee Lumen's GTM approach, ensuring the creation of impactful sales and marketing content throughout the customer lifecycle. The VP will collaborate closely with various senior leaders to align strategies and drive sales growth while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, build out and oversee Lumen's GTM & Customer Migration team.
  • Lead and oversee the continuous improvement of Lumen's GTM process by developing and monitoring GTM key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop, launch and oversee Lumen's Customer Migration Factory to accelerate customer transitions to Lumen solutions.
  • Oversee the development of all necessary sales and customer migration content and establish migration KPIs.
  • Guide and govern all key aspects of GTM success, including the delivery of repeatable and scalable product sales guidance.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to ensure a unified approach to go-to-market strategies.
  • Head strategic planning for GTM and Customer Migrations, recommending improvement strategies.
  • Facilitate the adjustment and enhancement of GTM KPIs as necessary to assess performance and adjust strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, model, coach and develop a high-performing GTM & Customer Migration team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in GTM or related product, sales or marketing experience, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in building and leading with data and GTM performance metrics.
  • Proven experience managing complex customer migrations and/or equivalent sale programs.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication and collaboration abilities.
