About the position

The VP Head of Growth is a visionary, natural leader, who prioritizes and leads all new business strategies for the agency. This role involves engaging and growing the agency's roster of current and net new clients, as well as revenue with senior client executives who are decision-makers in digital marketing, marketing transformation, marketing technologies, or integrated marketing for stand-out brands. The VP is responsible for all agency marketing & PR efforts, providing strategic direction to the business development team, and driving qualified leads into the new business pipeline. The position requires honing a tailored marketing strategy, optimizing pitch approaches, and crafting clear narratives showcasing creative, data, and technology. The VP will instill a win or learn mentality among the team, track progress against plans and budgets, and create a culture of aggressive growth within the agency. Additionally, the role involves closing new business deals, representing the full suite of Arc capabilities, and collaborating in broader Publicis Groupe pitches. The VP must be an expert in current and future industry trends, drive holistic marketing, build a library of selling assets, cultivate business relationships, and develop a collaborative business development team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all new business strategies for the agency.
  • Engage and grow the agency's roster of current and net new clients.

  • Accountable for win/loss ratio and healthy business development financials.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12+ years of agency growth experience.
  • Successful track record of pitching and closing clients.
  • Experience building business for a creative agency, ideally with shopper marketing/creative commerce.
  • Proven experience in leading a cross-functional team in the pitch/business development process.
  • Ability to reach across cross-functional aisles to drive wins.
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Ability to collaborate with a centralized new business infrastructure.
  • Understanding of macro business issues and value-generating opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and able to juggle multiple initiatives.
  • Strong storytelling ability to empathize with clients.
  • Dynamic, persuasive presence with outstanding communication skills.
  • Success-oriented, resilient, and resourceful.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
