Better Life Partners is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Head of New Market Development & Implementation to spearhead the expansion of our services into new geographic markets. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, the Head of New Market Development and Implementation will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities for growth. This individual will lead a cross-functional team to establish new treatment partnerships, driving revenue growth and extending the reach of our life-changing programs. The role involves conducting in-depth market research to identify promising new geographic markets for expansion, developing and refining the company's market expansion strategy, and implementing strategies to attract new members to Better Life Partners' treatment programs. The VP will cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, lead site selection efforts for new treatment facilities, ensure compliance with regulations, evaluate financial viability of expansion opportunities, oversee successful market launches, and manage a high-performing team to support the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify promising new geographic markets for expansion.
  • Develop and refine the company's market expansion strategy, aligning with overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new members to Better Life Partners' treatment programs in newly established markets.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, government agencies, insurers, and community organizations, to explore collaboration opportunities and facilitate market entry.
  • Lead site selection efforts for new treatment facilities, leveraging data-driven analysis and collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations governing the establishment and operation of substance use disorder treatment programs.
  • Evaluate the financial viability of potential expansion opportunities, including revenue projections, cost estimates, and return on investment analysis.
  • Oversee the successful launch of Better Life Partners' services in new markets, coordinating activities across all functional areas and ensuring a seamless transition from planning to operations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, finance, legal, marketing, and clinical services, to coordinate and support successful market entry and ongoing operations.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of professionals to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to market development activities, providing regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare business development and/or growth, with a focus on launching and scaling new markets, programs or services.
  • Proven track record of successfully entering new markets and driving revenue growth in a healthcare or related industry.
  • Deep understanding of the substance use disorder treatment landscape, including regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for making a positive impact on individuals and communities affected by addiction.
