About the position

The VP, HOA Regional Account Executive at Banc of California is responsible for driving business development and acquiring profitable deposit business within the Homeowners Association (HOA) industry. This role focuses on cultivating relationships with community association management companies and expanding the bank's presence in this vertical market by cross-selling appropriate banking products and services. The position requires a strong emphasis on relationship management, sales tracking, and collaboration with various teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Increase Bank's share of client's total relationship by acquiring deposit business and cross-selling appropriate Bank products and services for community association management companies.
  • Generate leads through local and national trade association activities, including trade shows, luncheons, and events.
  • Perform detailed sales and account management tracking using approved sales tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales responses to RFPs and client proposals.
  • Prepare pricing proformas and profilers when necessary and obtain executed service agreements for new clients.
  • Work with the onboarding team to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Participate in corporate and business line training as required.
  • Partner with the relationship team to cross-sell Bank products and services.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of HOA industry experience working directly with associations and/or property management companies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated, independent, and goal-driven with demonstrated professional sales skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services relevant to the market sector served.
  • Ability to prospect for new associations and organize work effectively.
