About the position

The VP of Identity & Endpoint Security at VyStar Credit Union will lead the Information Security department, focusing on Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Endpoint & User Security. This role is responsible for ensuring secure access to digital resources, protecting workstations and mobile devices, and delivering secure solutions that enhance user experiences. The VP will collaborate with various teams, manage projects, and ensure compliance with security policies while fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in the Information Security department to build, integrate, and operate IAM and Endpoint Security functions.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Identity, Endpoint, and Email security solutions.
• Execute projects and manage vendors to improve IAM and Endpoint Security.
• Ensure compliance with Information Security policies and embed security controls in new technology initiatives.
• Maintain security controls for compliance and regulations related to IAM and Endpoint Security.
• Implement IAM and Endpoint Security solutions across supported systems and applications with documentation.
• Analyze business risks and prioritize projects to avoid productivity impacts.
• Collaborate with leadership to build consensus on project requirements and timelines.
• Communicate technical content to diverse audiences, including engineers and executives.
• Operate independently while aligning with security leadership directives.
• Lead and develop team members while performing as an individual contributor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of Information Security experience.
• 4+ years of Identity & Access Management experience.
• 4+ years of Endpoint Security experience.
• 4+ years of Microsoft 365 Cloud Security experience.
• 6+ years in a team leadership role.
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK certifications preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with identity & access management security tools like SailPoint IdentityNow, Okta, and Microsoft Entra.
• Knowledge of integrating IAM with ServiceNow & Workday.
• Experience in the banking and financial industry IT regulatory environment.
