About the position
The VP of Leasing & Real Estate Operations at Crown Castle leads a large organization responsible for managing customer leasing efforts across a nationwide portfolio of 40,000 wireless communications tower sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring long-term economic and operational control of Crown's real estate interests while driving growth and optimizing performance within the organization. The position requires a visionary leader who fosters collaboration and accountability, overseeing various functional teams involved in contract development, tenant support, real estate operations, and acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Lead functional teams within Leasing & Real Estate Operations including Contract Development, Tower Tenant Support, Real Estate Operations, and Real Estate Acquisitions & Site Development.
- Oversee the preparation and execution of site-level lease agreements for Crown's tower business, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
- Manage production, order-related real estate contingencies, and land & rooftop management for tenant support.
- Handle real estate transactions, including closings, title research, and legal rights management.
- Negotiate optimal financial and operational terms with developers and manage site acquisition activities for new builds and relocations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Ten or more years of leadership experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Extensive profit & loss management responsibility, including financial analysis and budget development.
- Experience in developing and operating wireless networks and communication towers.
