About the position

The Vice President of Marketing Operations at Lumen is responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing function. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy, this role involves managing the marketing technology stack, overseeing customer marketing data, and delivering analytics that drive continuous improvement in marketing impact. The ideal candidate will foster collaboration and possess a deep understanding of marketing operations, metrics, and tools, particularly in relation to Adobe and SFDC platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Lumen's Customer Marketing Data Platform and Marketing Data, Analytics and Insights team to build a robust, metric-based marketing performance engine.
• Supervise the Marketing Technology team, providing executive leadership and strategic direction.
• Partner closely with the SVP of Sales Enablement & Operations to ensure a cohesive approach to commercial technology.
• Manage the Marketing Program Management function across all campaigns and programs.
• Collaborate with other VPs to deliver effective marketing program management and analytics.
• Head strategic planning for Marketing, aligning goals with overall business objectives.
• Facilitate the adjustment of Marketing KPIs to better assess performance and strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing operations team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in marketing operations, analytics, or a related field, with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in data analytics, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Experience managing a B2B enterprise marketing technology stack, specifically Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions.
• Exceptional analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience testing and deploying AI to improve marketing productivity.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
