About the position

The VP of Digital Marketing/Demand Generation at selfpublishing.com is a pivotal role responsible for driving the company's economic engine by increasing Qualified Appointments (Qapps) and revenue while reducing customer acquisition costs (CAC). This position involves managing growth channels and leading a marketing team to innovate and optimize marketing strategies based on data-driven decisions. The ultimate goal is to scale the company's marketing efforts effectively and efficiently, ensuring sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth of Qualified Appointments (Qapps) and revenue.
  • Manage and optimize growth channels to reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC).
  • Lead and mentor the marketing and demand generation team.
  • Focus on scaling paid acquisition channels past $10M/year.
  • Implement rigorous testing and data analysis to inform marketing decisions.
  • Prune ineffective channels and campaigns while fostering a culture of innovation.

Requirements

  • Experience running marketing for a company with at least $20M in annual revenue.
  • Proven ability to create and grow multiple marketing channels.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a marketing team.
  • Hands-on experience in building and maintaining marketing campaigns and automated systems.
  • Solid understanding of copywriting and its application in marketing.
