Balsam Hill is seeking a VP of Indirect Channel Sales to lead and enhance its indirect channel efforts, focusing on strategic wholesale partnerships and marketplace expansion. This role is crucial for developing and executing strategies that align with the company's omnichannel growth objectives, primarily in the U.S. market, while also providing guidance to international teams. The position requires a visionary leader with a strong background in omnichannel innovation and a proven track record in driving results through indirect sales channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive indirect channel strategies that align with Balsam Hill's direct digital and in-store experience.
  • Lead and optimize Balsam Hill's indirect channel business, including strategic relationships with national retailers and marketplace partnerships.
  • Drive analytical decision-making through demand planning, forecasting, supply chain optimization, and sales performance analytics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, operations, technology, and international business teams.
  • Lead strategic planning and execution for Amazon business growth and optimization.
  • Promote collaboration and alignment with organizational values, translating company initiatives into a clear vision.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of progressive retail and account management experience; global experience strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience with P&L responsibility.
  • Proven track record in omnichannel retail strategy and execution.
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning and execution, channel strategy development, and product marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in managing relationships with major retailers such as Target, Costco, and Amazon.
  • Strong background in both traditional retail and eCommerce.
  • Experience in multi-channel sales team leadership with a proven ability to recruit and develop high-performing teams.
