About the position

The position involves managing all marketing functions to achieve the company's objectives of increased brand awareness, growth, profits, and visibility. The role requires ensuring a consistent marketing message and positioning on a worldwide basis, aligned with the corporate direction. The candidate will partner with internal teams to optimize various marketing platforms and operations specific to a brand, while also monitoring and researching industry trends related to direct response marketing to continually improve knowledge and skills. Collaboration with Product Marketing and Management is essential to ensure the right mix of features and positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all marketing functions to achieve the company objective of increased brand awareness, growth, profits, and visibility while ensuring a consistent marketing message and positioning on a worldwide basis consistent with the corporate direction.
  • Experience partnering with internal teams to optimize varied marketing platforms and operations, specific to a Brand.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics.
  • Monitor and research industry trends related to direct response marketing to continually improve knowledge and skills, and communicate new ideas and trends.
  • Work with Product Marketing and Management to ensure the right mix of features and positioning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience; management consulting background preferred.
  • Track record from a consumer Internet brands.
  • Strong sense of marketing analytics and how to derive actionable insights from complex data sources.
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the analytics packages such as Google Analytics.
  • Management experience leading small teams against online performance-based media objectives and executing marketing campaigns that are part of multi-pronged marketing strategy that crosses teams and organizations.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to get work completed is a key success factor.
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment without a lot of direction or oversight.
  • Advanced computer skills are required.
  • College degree required, advanced degree a plus.
