About the position

We are seeking an exceptional Regional Vice President to join our leadership team. This critical role plays a vital part in the growth and success of our organization by overseeing the operations of multiple regions. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of strategic planning, business development, and senior leadership skills to drive our organization forward. The Regional Vice President (RVP) oversees all sales and operational functions for the NorCal area, managing a team of 250-300 field staff. The RVP is responsible for achieving safety, productivity, quality control, and sales goals of $125M. This role involves strategic planning, managing large-scale operations, and maintaining key industry relationships. The RVP will also lead initiatives set by the Board of Directors, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee regional teams to meet safety, productivity, and profit goals.
  • Manage staff development, recruitment, and training.
  • Develop and execute plans to enhance regional profitability and efficiency.
  • Maintain and build relationships with clients, contractors, and industry organizations.
  • Represent the company at events.
  • Manage preconstruction, estimating, and sales teams to meet profit goals.
  • Oversee compliance with legal and safety requirements.
  • Introduce and implement process improvements, ensuring quality assurance.
  • Lead sales pursuits, presentations, and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role within the electrical contracting industry, with a strong understanding of large-scale operations and profit management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proficient in strategic planning, financial management, compliance, and negotiation.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, BlueBeam).
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
