About the position

The Vice President of Performance Improvement, Applications Analytics is a leadership role responsible for planning, directing, and managing the performance improvement function within BHN's Information Systems Department. This position focuses on optimizing systems to enhance the quality of care provided to individuals and communities. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a vision for the future, capable of collaborating with senior management to align technology strategies with the organization's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and direct the Performance Improvement (PI) functions of the organization.
  • Align applications, data management, reporting, quality assurance, and project management with BHN's mission.
  • Develop and implement the technology vision and planning process.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment of Information Systems/Information Technology strategies with organizational goals.
  • Lead the PI process and program evaluation through data collection, analysis, audit, and reporting.
  • Develop methods for data collection and integration of systems information.
  • Transform data into actionable information and communicate performance improvement priorities.
  • Oversee the linkage between external technology systems and internal IT resources.
  • Develop and communicate information systems management and governance structure.
  • Supervise the Director of Applications and Director of Data Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Information.
  • Master's Degree in related fields strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of business operations experience in high-growth environments.
  • Five or more years of leadership experience in an MIS/IT organization.
  • Knowledge of strategic and operational planning, health care economics, and personnel administration.
  • Strong history of defining business operations' needs and implementing software-based solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience interfacing with executive level management.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws related to health care.
