About the position

The VP of Product Management is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the product strategy for modernization and growth. This individual will lead the Product Management team to drive product innovation, portfolio advancement, and strategic alignment with the company's long-term business objectives. The VP will work collaboratively across functions to ensure product success from conception to delivery, acting as the primary advocate for the division's product portfolio. With a strong focus on customer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning, this leader will ensure the company continues to lead in the industry by modernizing solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Product Management team to drive product innovation and portfolio advancement.
  • Shape and execute the product strategy for modernization and growth.
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure product success from conception to delivery.
  • Act as the primary advocate for the division's product portfolio.
  • Focus on customer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning to ensure industry leadership.
  • Balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in technology Product Management
  • Experience in Senior Leadership operating at Sr. Director or VP level leading teams of Product Managers, Product Owners, and BAs
  • ERP or SaaS Product Management experience
  • Proven success launching enterprise SaaS products and migrating legacy systems to the cloud
  • Strong business leadership and financial skills including P&L management and M&A strategy
  • Comfortable hands-on developing, driving, and executing on product vision and roadmap
  • In-depth knowledge of product development lifecycle (PDLC)
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed organization with ability to work cross-functionally
  • Key qualities include change management, high growth, servant leader, data driven mindset
  • Executive presence with the ability to present thorough business plans to leadership and achieve buy-in
  • Bachelor's in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Management
  • Pragmatic Marketing certification or relevant Product Marketing certifications
  • International experience leading product management for global GTM strategy
  • Strong understanding of similar industry and customer base i.e. SmB and Enterprise
