About the position
As the VP of Product and Interim Chairman for the Committee BetrDesign Network, you will play a vital role in launching our platform and refining our UX/UI strategy. This position requires an innovative leader who can bridge the gap between creative vision and engineering execution. You will be comfortable discussing cutting-edge creative solutions while having the energy and focus to lead product teams in delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Establish UX/UI Standards: Contribute, manage and lead the global standards for a forward-thinking UX/UI strategy that aligns with ThinkRite and BetrDesign's collaborative goals.
- Conduct Focus Groups and Research: Organize focus groups and usability tests to gather insights that inform impactful design changes.
- Stay Innovative: Keep BetrDesign products at the cutting edge of industry trends by integrating new design principles and technologies.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work collaboratively with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive, user-centered product launches.
- Engage in Community Representation: Represent ThinkRite and BetrDesign in UX/UI associations and contribute to establishing industry standards.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of design tools such as Figma, and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Experience: 10+ years in UX/UI design for mobile, desktop, and web applications, with a minimum of 3 years in a Product Ownership role.
- Track Record: Proven history of launching user-driven, innovative applications to market successfully.
- Research Skills: Demonstrated experience with user testing, focus groups, and research methodologies.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing impactful design and a user-centered approach.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills with a collaborative and empathetic leadership style.
