About the position

The Vice President of Sales at Airspace Link Inc. is a senior leadership role responsible for transforming the company's sales approach from founder-led to a structured sales organization that drives predictable revenue growth. This position involves building and leading a high-performing sales team focused on selling drone software solutions to state and local governments, ensuring sales targets are met through strategic planning and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a sales organization with repeatable, scalable sales processes to enable predictable revenue growth.
  • Lead sales and account management teams, aligning forecasting processes and pipeline with company revenue goals.
  • Contribute to sales goals by actively closing deals alongside the sales team.
  • Optimize the sales funnel to maximize conversion rates and shorten sales cycles.
  • Establish and manage sales performance metrics, including revenue forecasts and quota attainment.
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales performance and market trends.
  • Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics platforms to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish strong relationships with key industry influencers to generate new business.
  • Manage the organization's information security as defined by the system.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience in a high-growth environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading a successful sales organization.
  • Experience in building repeatable sales processes and systems from the ground up.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, particularly in government and emerging technologies.
  • Proven ability to create and execute scalable sales strategies for growth in various markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and influence.
  • Prior success in a startup environment with flexibility and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with Esri, UAS, or emerging mobility solutions.
