The Grand Central Publishing Group is seeking a consumer-focused, innovative, and experienced VP or Executive Director of Marketing to lead a dynamic team of approximately ten marketers. This role is pivotal in developing and overseeing all aspects of marketing strategy for around 150 original titles per year, which span a broad range of categories from bestselling fiction franchises to debut novels and narrative and practical nonfiction. The successful candidate will bring a business owner's mentality to their work, harnessing and further developing the power of GCPG's marketing team to drive sales results and meet financial goals. Collaboration with key stakeholders across group imprints, Editorial, Publicity, Art, Sales, and HBG Central Marketing is essential, as is interfacing with parallel divisions across Hachette Book Group and Hachette UK. The ultimate goal is to sustain best-in-class marketing results across the Grand Central Publishing Group. This position is based out of our New York office and operates on a two-day hybrid model.
