About the position

The VP of People Operations is a visionary leader responsible for aligning human resource functions with the company's vision and long-term goals. This role focuses on enhancing employee experience, streamlining processes, and fostering a thriving workplace culture that reflects the company's values. The VP will lead strategic initiatives in areas such as employee engagement, talent development, and performance management, while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute people operations strategies that support the company's overall vision and business objectives.
  • Work with leadership to ensure HR policies reflect core values and long-term goals.
  • Lead strategic programs in people analytics, employee engagement, talent development, performance management, talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, and rewards.
  • Create and manage a performance management system that aligns individual and team goals with the company's mission.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform people strategies and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of training programs aligned with continuous improvement and growth.
  • Oversee and improve HR processes such as onboarding, payroll management, benefits administration, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with all people-related regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Provide expert guidance on people-related issues and policies across all functional areas.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to attract and retain top talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in human resources or people operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS) and familiarity with data analysis.
  • Advanced skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to align HR strategies with broader organizational goals.
  • Multi-state HR management experience; international HR management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
