The Vice President of Marketing & Product Management at DiversiTech is a pivotal leadership role that reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is responsible for the development and execution of product and brand strategies that align with the company's long-term growth objectives while achieving annual revenue and profitability targets. The VP will lead strategic planning and the execution of new product introductions, as well as marketing strategies for existing products, with a focus on expanding wallet share and product penetration among customers. Initially, the VP will need to be hands-on to facilitate execution while simultaneously building a robust product team. This role encompasses the management of up to six product teams, each led by General Managers with P&L responsibilities, covering major business segments such as Pads & Mounts, Chemicals & Sealants, and Electrical & Motors. In addition to product management, the VP will develop and maintain the necessary marketing infrastructure to support current and future operations. This includes overseeing merchandising, product engineering, product information management, supplier relations, pricing, inventory targets, and the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The VP will foster a collaborative team environment to ensure that customer needs are met through effective product and marketing initiatives. Close collaboration with peers across the organization will be essential to define, communicate, and market the company's value proposition, driving additional sales and enhancing market presence. Key responsibilities include managing the financial results of various product line teams, delivering increased revenue through effective product management, and developing new revenue streams via targeted new product introductions. The VP will coordinate budget alignment with sales leadership, execute a global marketing strategy, and ensure the development of strategic product roadmaps and marketing plans. This role also involves ownership of the new product introduction process, integrating existing products across newly acquired entities, and managing the marketing and product management team to ensure a strong presence at industry events. The VP will conduct competitive analysis and translate market requirements into actionable product plans, while also assessing the need for e-commerce solutions to drive customer service and business growth.
