About the position

The Head of Product Management will lead the product development and innovation efforts for a portfolio company specializing in field management services. This role involves strategic planning, managing the product portfolio, and leading a diverse team of product managers, analysts, designers, and data scientists to drive the company's vision and establish it as a global supplier.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and management of the entire product portfolio.
• Definition and alignment of the vision, strategy, and roadmap to establish the company as a global supplier.
• Create and present visionary innovations and strategic decision proposals, including business case calculations.
• Responsible for strategic partnerships and leading necessary contract negotiations.
• Represent the company with strategic customers, the press, and analysts.
• Definition and monitoring of company-relevant KPIs and control of measures to achieve set objectives.
• Sales and profit and loss responsibility for the entire international business.
• Lead a product management team, motivating and achieving steady improvements.
• Identification and promotion of high potentials and talent.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in building technology for B2B/SaaS/Enterprise tech companies.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in an international environment and across multiple sites.
• Great people skills paired with a high level of assertiveness.
• Very good communication skills in German and English for effective communication with management and colleagues.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and coordinating skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire teams, including virtual teams.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of business and technology.
