About the position

The VP, Product Marketing & Operations is a key member of the Global Product Management team at Gartner, responsible for defining and implementing the product marketing discipline. This role focuses on creating core product marketing messaging, aligning internal teams, and enhancing customer engagement. The VP will also manage GPM Operations to support organizational productivity and effectiveness, driving awareness of product launches and managing the product life cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize Global Product Management (GPM) marketing roadmap to ensure focus is on the right things, at the right time.
  • Make recommendations and continuously improve on marketing activities, including channel communications and other programs.
  • Create effective mechanisms to track key inputs to the business and report closely on their progress.
  • Connect product messaging, competitive analysis, pricing, and customer insights to position Gartner products for retention and growth.
  • Leverage data/insights to differentiate and communicate the value of Gartner's offerings.
  • Present on product performance and contextualize change-related messages for Team NCVI partners.
  • Partner with product leaders and Sales Enablement to drive ongoing product adoption.
  • Execute necessary analysis, framing, prioritization, work scoping, planning, and project management with GPM leadership.
  • Organize and support the annual Strategy Projects and monthly Operating Committee presentations.
  • Develop business cases for product innovation efforts and drive high-visibility product marketing launches.
  • Partner with Communications to develop a comprehensive communication strategy for GPM-wide meetings and product launches.
  • Support GPM annual budget and financial planning processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of business experience with progressive responsibility in a fast-paced, agile, matrixed environment.
  • Experience working with executives including OC members.
