About the position

The VP, Product Marketing at Amperity will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy for the company. This role involves crafting differentiated positioning and messaging, building sales tools, and developing pricing and packaging strategies. The VP will serve as a key connector between the product organization and go-to-market teams, ensuring alignment and operationalizing messaging to fuel sales and partner revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale Amperity's product marketing division to shape go-to-market efforts for core platform and emerging products.
  • Design and operate a successful collaboration zone between product, sales, and client success to drive joint GTM outcomes.
  • Own Amperity's positioning and messaging for target personas, verticals, and segments, crafting breakthrough stories.
  • Act as the operational connective tissue between product organization and go-to-market teams to drive pipeline generation and revenue.
  • Build sales tools, enablement, and go-to-market plays with sales operations to increase sales productivity.
  • Drive pricing and packaging strategy, championing new business models and routes to market.
  • Work closely with Business Development to craft positioning and messaging for paid media and data warehouse partners.
  • Organize and evolve Amperity's customer marketing program to turn customers into champions.
  • Serve as an evangelist and thought leader, creating content and speaking as a subject matter expert.
  • Lead research initiatives to optimize the funnel and drive product roadmap, positioning, pricing, and competitive intelligence.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of product marketing leaders and individual contributors.

Requirements

  • 12+ years' experience managing and mentoring a product marketing team in a tech company, preferably in a data-oriented SaaS organization.
  • B2B SaaS experience with pricing and packaging expertise required.
  • Strong understanding of both technical (CIO, Developers) and marketing personas.
  • Deep understanding of MarTech and the data ecosystem.
  • Experience influencing and aligning SaaS marketing teams across direct and partner channels.
  • Prior experience building diverse teams with a strong sense of mission and belonging.
  • Demonstrated customer-centric mindset and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong influence, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with executive sponsors, partners, and end users.
