About the position

The VP, Product Management for Gartner's IT End-User product team is a pivotal role responsible for driving product strategy and execution to serve IT Leaders. This position involves managing the product lifecycle, conducting market analysis, and implementing enhancements to achieve revenue growth and client retention. The VP will lead cross-functional teams, prioritize client needs, and ensure alignment with Gartner's core values while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the IT Leaders portfolio and user base across all products.
  • Understand client needs to drive value and retention.
  • Develop strategies for optimal product offerings for clients.
  • Lead collaborative problem-solving with stakeholders to improve performance.
  • Create product strategy and go-to-market approaches, including business case development.
  • Present regular updates to key stakeholders and senior executives.
  • Drive sales adoption and client satisfaction to ensure ongoing growth and retention.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive business experience, with 7+ years in product strategy or management.
  • Experience in B2B product management or product development leadership.
  • Strong understanding of IT organizations and related roles.
  • Proven track record of solving client problems with technology-based solutions.
  • Experience launching successful new products and managing growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience with market research, opportunity sizing, and pricing strategies.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative business analytics skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
