Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical quality measurement, analysis, improvement, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Standardize quality strategies across the health system.
  • Direct and oversee the work of Quality Leads at Tower Health Hospitals.
  • Collaborate with leadership, hospital departments, and medical staff to enhance quality of care.
  • Advance strategic priorities related to patient safety, infection prevention, and patient experience.
  • Create an environment that supports continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  • Implement and sustain a quality management system aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Establish a comprehensive approach to data collection, analysis, and reporting of quality indicators.
  • Oversee quality monitoring activities and reporting for the system.
  • Monitor external benchmarks and performance metrics to set priorities and targets.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of surveys for external benchmarking entities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to investigate and implement improvements for quality issues.
  • Assist in the design of clinical processes to maintain high-quality care.
  • Analyze and distribute data from system Quality reports to relevant committees.
  • Align national trends with strategic plans and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop organizational competency in quality improvement principles.
  • Launch initiatives for new quality measurement and reporting programs.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience in healthcare quality, analytics, and improvement in acute care.
  • Clinical background is a plus.
  • CPHQ certification is helpful.
