As the VP, Relationship Manager at Enterprise Bank & Trust, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing new commercial loan accounts while enhancing existing client relationships. This position requires a proactive approach to providing financial solutions to both existing and prospective clients, with a strong emphasis on increasing the bank's deposit base through various products. You will be responsible for building sound and profitable business relationships, conducting credit assessments, and exceeding customer needs and expectations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. In this role, you will frequently represent the bank within the business community, actively developing relationships with business owners, C-level executives, and centers of influence (COIs). You will build and maintain a targeted list of at least 15 prospect profiles and strategize to execute a call plan that meets individual and team sales objectives across the bank's various business lines. Managing and servicing commercial relationships will involve interviewing applicants, obtaining pertinent financial data, and evaluating financial information to determine acceptable credit risks. You will have the authority to approve loans within your assigned lending authority and company policies, and you will recommend credits outside your authority to the next level or present them to the Loan Committee as per established procedures. Ongoing monitoring of existing loans for conformity to terms and conditions is essential, as is active participation with senior lending officers on larger, more complex credits. You will also need to monitor market conditions, observe competitor impacts, and make recommendations to maintain a competitive and profitable product line. A comprehensive knowledge of all commercial products, including loans, cash management, trade service products, and deposits, is crucial for facilitating cross-selling and enhancing the client experience. You will analyze financial statements and related information to support your decision-making processes.
