About the position

The Vice President, Retirement Director is a field-based role focused on driving sales and managing relationships within the Retirement market, specifically targeting Investment Professionals in Michigan and parts of Indiana. This position requires collaboration with a Regional Account Executive to develop and execute a business plan aimed at meeting and exceeding sales goals while enhancing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales goals for the Michigan territory.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Investment Professionals and Advisors.
  • Collaborate with a Regional Account Executive to create a targeted business plan.
  • Utilize multiple strategies to develop prospects through internal distribution partners and investment professionals.
  • Document sales activity to ensure production levels are met.
  • Sponsor and participate in client seminars and events to enhance business opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal groups to provide superior service and support.
  • Assist Investment Professionals in building their business through product knowledge and lead generation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the Retirement market.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
  • Extensive overnight travel required.
  • Strong field sales and territory management experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Fidelity and competitive products.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and listening skills.
