About the position
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Warrior Met Coal, LLC is responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts to maximize the value of the company's coal products. This role involves managing key customer relationships, developing strategic sales plans, and ensuring the company meets its commercial objectives while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. The VP will also play a crucial role in market analysis and business development, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage key customer relationships and pursue new commercial opportunities.
- Coordinate the tender/proposal/negotiation processes with valued customers.
- Assist in developing and implementing the Company's annual sales plan.
- Develop a solid understanding of WMC's markets and monitor industry trends.
- Actively manage the Company's business performance and ensure robust processes are in place.
- Demonstrate visible leadership and commitment to safety standards.
- Develop and enhance key customer relationships and seek new commercial opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver customer updates and contract performance presentations.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of annual sales and account plans.
- Monitor all sales and marketing related KPIs and develop corrective actions.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or finance.
- Minimum of 15 years' relevant work experience in mining or manufacturing of commodities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the steel and met coal industries.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced business and financial acumen.

- Experience in international travel for customer site visits and industry conferences.
- Ability to establish credibility with customers and demonstrate professional competency.
