About the position

Flagship is seeking a trailblazing and strategic leader for the position of Vice President/Sales Enablement and Marketing Strategy. This role is instrumental in driving our growth by establishing robust sales processes, leading the marketing department, and ensuring seamless alignment between sales and marketing efforts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales and marketing leadership, with deep expertise in utilizing and optimizing marketing and sales technology, such as Sales Force, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Pardot, etc. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our company's sales and marketing strategies while leveraging technology to enhance performance and drive significant business results. In this role, you will direct the Marketing and Bid teams to develop and execute strategies that effectively support sales objectives and enhance brand positioning. You will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of scalable sales processes that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth. Ensuring strong collaboration and alignment between Sales and Marketing teams will be crucial to optimize campaign effectiveness and messaging consistency. You will oversee and enhance the use of our marketing technology platforms, ensuring these tools are fully leveraged to support Sales and Marketing activities. Additionally, you will refine the Inside Sales team, providing oversight and the tools, training, and guidance needed to achieve their targets. Utilizing analytics to monitor performance, refine strategies, and respond proactively to market changes will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will guide the bid team in developing high-quality proposals that are competitive and aligned with Marketing and Sales strategies, while also partnering with Operations, Finance, and other departments to integrate sales and marketing strategies with the company's business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the Marketing and Bid teams to develop and execute strategies that effectively support sales objectives and enhance brand positioning.

  • Ensure strong collaboration and alignment between Sales and Marketing teams to optimize campaign effectiveness and messaging consistency.
  • Oversee and enhance the use of marketing technology platforms, ensuring these tools are fully leveraged to support Sales and Marketing activities.

Requirements

  • B.A. in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of B2B Sales and Marketing management experience with a strong focus on aligning Sales and Marketing efforts, preferably within facility services or a related industry.
  • Minimum 5 years in a Senior Leadership role (Director or above), overseeing Sales Enablement and Marketing Strategy, with a proven track record of successful team leadership and development, including bid and proposal team and asset development.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in sales process development and optimization, including designing and implementing scalable sales processes that have demonstrably improved sales performance and efficiency.
  • Minimum of 5 years working with marketing technology platforms such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Sales Force, Pardot, etc., including the selection, implementation, and optimization of these tools to support sales and marketing functions.
  • Minimum of 5 years in bid management and proposal development, ideally within the facility services industry, ensuring proposals are competitive and aligned with strategic sales initiatives.
