About the position

The Sales Operations Project Transformation Leader at Optimum is a key role focused on driving strategic transformation initiatives within the sales operations team. This position is responsible for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across various sales processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams. The leader will oversee transformation projects, conduct data analysis, and implement process improvements to optimize sales operations and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage sales processes, systems, and tools for consistency and effectiveness across quota setting, pipeline forecasting, compensation management, and territory planning.
  • Work cross-functionally to align sales, marketing, and customer success teams around digital buyer and seller experiences.
  • Lead transformation projects, overseeing planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, using insights for decision-making and project planning.
  • Identify areas for improvement within sales operations and develop strategies to optimize processes, implementing best practices to enhance productivity.
  • Install and adopt processes and standards related to key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure efficiencies and effectiveness of sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Strengthen territory planning and sales compensation, identifying and implementing strategic leverage opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and IT, to drive change and ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and successes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree such as an MBA is a plus.
  • 10 years of experience in sales operations or business transformation roles, including 3-4 years of management experience.
  • Experience with technology transformation, including Salesforce implementation.
  • Experience in B2B recurring revenue models; B2C experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies is a plus.
  • Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications preferred.
