About the position

The VP, Sales Support at Broadridge is a leadership role focused on driving sales objectives within the Asset Management Solutions sector. This position involves managing a team of pre-sales professionals, collaborating with various internal teams, and acting as a subject matter expert in product demonstrations and client interactions. The role emphasizes a strong understanding of buy-side technology solutions and aims to enhance client engagement and sales performance through effective pre-sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 6 pre-sales individuals across New York and Boston.
  • Maintain a knowledge-base of current product features and planned developments.
  • Work with potential and existing customers on sales opportunities, managing the pre-sales team throughout the sales process.
  • Document meeting minutes, create detailed action items, and ensure their completion.
  • Maintain dashboards tracking overall sales activity throughout the lifecycle of each sale.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of buy-side applications through product demonstrations and technical explanations.
  • Establish domain expertise and credibility with buy-side customers and partners.
  • Assist the Sales Team in completing Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Prepare Business Analysis Discovery documentation and presentation material to highlight software value propositions.
  • Prepare and present documentation to product management teams for addressing functional gaps.
  • Communicate customer/prospect activities with the assigned Sales Representative via Salesforce, Trello, Confluence, and other tools.
  • Deliver tailored Proofs of Concept (POC) to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Senior level experience in sales support or related field.
  • Proficiency in Trello and Confluence.
  • Strong product management skills.
  • Experience in conducting product demos.
